MOUNT PLEASANT, SC:  ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (ELCA)
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Old Village, 604 Pitt Street) of Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking applications to fill the full-time position of Organist/Choir Director for our small congregation.  Responsibilities include providing organ/piano accompaniment for one weekly traditional Sunday worship service at 10:15 AM, directing and accompanying weekly adult choir rehearsals (when these resume), and playing for additional services such as Christmas Eve, funerals and weddings.

Qualified candidates will possess at least an undergraduate degree in music and/or appropriate experience in a traditional worship setting. This position can range from 10 to 30 hours a week with a salary based on education, experience, and hours worked. The organ is a 2-manual pipe organ. JAMES ISLAND, SC:  CHAPEL AT BISHOP GADSDEN
The Chapel at Bishop Gadsden is seeking a part-time organist/choir director. He/she will be responsible for playing for the 10:30 service on Sunday mornings, and after the pandemic, will also direct the choir.  The choir traditionally has rehearsed once a week and sung for the Sunday morning service as well as Christmas Eve. Along with Christmas, there are services on various other occasions such as Epiphany, Maundy Thursday, Easter, and Thanksgiving. The organist has the first right-of-refusal for funerals. The chapel has a new 16 rank Schoenstein organ which was designed specifically for that space.
